Gymnastics icon Simone Biles has signed a two-year endorsement deal with hair care brand K18, marking another milestone in her illustrious career.
The partnership will see the decorated gymnast feature in a campaign that underscores the importance of inner strength and healthy hair. Biles shared the campaign video on Instagram, signaling the start of this exciting collaboration.
At 27 years old, Biles, who is widely recognized as the most decorated gymnast in history with seven Olympic medals, will represent the Unilever-owned brand K18.
This move comes after Unilever’s acquisition of K18 earlier this year, joining other notable ambassadors like influencer Sofia Richie Grainge.
“Simone Biles is synonymous with pushing boundaries, and her impact extends far beyond her sport,” said Suveen Sahib, co-founder and chief executive of K18. “This partnership is a testament to resilience, the power of science in elevating self-expression, and the belief that when we tap into our inner strength, anything is possible – whether it’s a gold medal performance or transforming the future of hair care.”
Biles’ endorsement portfolio is impressive, featuring deals with major brands like Visa, United Airlines, and Uber Eats.
She returned to gymnastics last year after a break following the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and continues to be a significant figure in the sports world.
Biles was ranked eighth in SportsPro’s 2023 list of the World’s 50 most Marketable Athletes, further highlighting her influence.
Next on Biles’ agenda is headlining the US Olympic team gymnastics trials, taking place from June 27th to 30th at Minneapolis’ Target Center, as she aims to secure her spot for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Through this new role with K18, Biles continues to exemplify strength and resilience, extending her influence beyond gymnastics and into the realm of beauty and self-care.
