Shante Broadus, wife of the renowned rapper Snoop Dogg, has unveiled a new venture in Downtown Los Angeles, bringing a real-life “Players Club” experience to the city.
Named after the iconic 1998 film created by Ice Cube, a longtime collaborator of Snoop Dogg, the establishment promises an adults-only atmosphere with a touch of West Coast flavor.
The news of the new strip club was announced by Snoop Dogg and his wife on Instagram, accompanied by the classic hip-hop track “Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang” by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
In a video post shared by Snoop Dogg, scenes from what appeared to be an opening night event were showcased, featuring Mrs. Broadus energizing the crowd and supporting her dancers.
The rapper himself was present, expressing his pride and endorsement of his wife’s new business venture.
According to sources, Shante’s Boss Lady Entertainment is hosting a star-studded party at the club to mark the occasion, with notable guests including Tiffany Haddish, Too $hort, and Cedric the Entertainer. DJ Drama and DJ Sky High Baby will be providing the musical entertainment for the evening.
The launch of The Players Club follows a series of auditions for dancers held over the Memorial Day weekend.
Broadus envisions the club as a hub for entrepreneurs, professionals, and patrons seeking an upscale nightlife experience.
Described as the “newest and most exclusive” gentleman’s club in the area, The Players Club aims to redefine luxury and liberation in Los Angeles’ nightlife scene, according to a press release.
Shante Broadus expressed her excitement about introducing the club to the city, emphasizing its role as a space for empowerment, beauty, and entrepreneurship.
With a nod to the essence of Ice Cube’s film “The Players Club,” Shante Broadus intends to uphold its legacy while offering a unique and unforgettable experience for clubgoers in Los Angeles.
