Tyra Banks is bringing her SMiZE & Dream ice cream to the nation’s capital with a new pop-up location.
Residents and visitors in Washington, D.C., will soon be able to indulge in her unique frozen treats, including a special flavor designed just for the city: “Cap Hill Crunch.”
This intriguing blend features Cap’n Crunch cereal-infused ice cream, toffee crunch, and cereal milk-soaked French toast pieces, according to Good Morning America.
Banks has announced job fairs for her “scoop squad” on the SMiZE & Dream Instagram, set for July 15 and 16 at 2653 Connecticut Ave.
This pop-up follows the successful debut of her ice cream in Los Angeles, where it was available in pre-packaged pints. Expanding her brand globally, Banks also launched a mobile ice cream truck in Dubai, furthering the reach of SMiZE & Dream.
On her 50th birthday, Banks shared her passion for ice cream on Instagram, saying:
“My mama and I have been obsessed with ice cream for forever…now I got me some big ice cream dreams with SMiZE & Dream.”
She stated that her venture is “not just about ice cream. It’s about inspiring people to make their dreams come true.”
The supermodel’s love for ice cream led to the opening of her first SMiZE Cream shop in Santa Monica, California, in 2021.
The shop, inspired by the term “smize” she coined during her America’s Next Top Model days, offered unique flavors like “The Best Vanilla I Ever Had” and “Chocolate Barbeque.”
In a TikTok video from the same year, Banks and Lionel Richie promoted the brand by dancing around with a bowl of a new flavor called “All Night Love,” created in collaboration with the “All Night Long” singer.
Last year, Banks rebranded SMiZE Cream to SMiZE & Dream, announcing the change on TikTok.
The new SMiZE & Dream pop-up in D.C. will be located in Woodley Park at Petit Monde’s lower level, operating from July 19 to September 20.
A newly designed website is coming soon, allowing ice cream enthusiasts to place online orders for delivery.
