Cardi B’s daughter Kulture was spotted in the Dominican Republic, mop in hand, getting a real-life lesson from her grandma on how to keep things tidy!
Cardi B might rap about luxury and private jets, but when it comes to her family roots, it’s all about tradition and hard work. A now-viral video has the internet buzzing after fans caught a glimpse of her daughter, Kulture, 7, experiencing “real life” in the Dominican Republic.
Yes, that Kulture, designer fits, private schooling, the works, was seen mopping the floor like she’s training to become the next Cinderella. In the short clip, Kulture, dressed in a bright pink tank top and shorts, works the wooden mop across a light-tiled floor under the supervision of Cardi’s grandmother. An older woman, possibly her great-grandma, appears to be resting on the bed nearby, probably making sure little sis gets it right.
The overlay text on the video says it all: “My grandma DGF… she gone make you clean.”

The video comes shortly after Cardi sparked debate online when she got emotional about sending her kids, Kulture, Wave (3), and baby Blossom, to the Dominican countryside for a few weeks with her dad. She didn’t sugarcoat her concern. “They’re so spoiled living in this big house… They eat whatever they want,” she said in a video. “They’re going to the country, like a little village, where there are cows and chickens in the backyard. And mosquitoes.”

She admitted she was “extremely sad” and wasn’t sure if they’d adjust. But as it turns out, not only are they adjusting, they’re thriving.
Other photos from the trip show Wave crouching with a plastic basin full of water while Kulture plays with a garden hose, soaking the concrete in the yard.
The woman who once said she didn’t “cook or clean” now has her daughter doing both, under grandma’s watchful eye.
Sometimes, all it takes is a mop, a grandma who DGAF, and a couple of chickens in the yard to raise a well-rounded kid.
