The model has gained attention for her recent philanthropic efforts in Ghana, where she visited the Osu Children’s Home as part of her trip to the African Country.
Rubi Rose set out on a humanitarian mission the day after arriving in the country and being greeted warmly at Kotoka International Airport. On November 1, 2024, she went to the Osu Children’s Home, one of the country’s popular orphanages. She donated bags of rice, washing powder, oil, beverages, and snacks to the resident orphaned children.
The heartwarming act of kindness has moved many people and has been captured in captivating videos shared on social media platforms.
In one of the photos, Rubi Rose is wearing a stylish blue and white striped outfit. She is holding a young girl in a blue and white checked dress at her hip, and a group of children and adults are gathered in the background, smiling and looking at the camera.
Another video from the ceremony showed the children greeting her with open arms and hugging her excitedly. The Hit Yo Dance hitmaker also picked up some of the children and placed them on her lap while interacting with those around her and taking selfies on her iPhone.
Before her Ghana trip, Rubi Rose made a quick stop in Nigeria ahead of her highly anticipated performance at the upcoming “Save the Summer” show and her upcoming reality show, “Finding Rubi Rose A Nigerian King.” While there, the model listed her favorite things in the country, including the culture and food.
In an interview with Almera Danjuma, Rubi Rose confessed that she loves Nigerian men.
“What’s your favorite thing about Nigeria?” Almera inquired.
Rubi Rose responded, “Nigerian boys are my favorite aspects of Nigeria. I also love the food.”
She also disclosed that her Nigerian name is Oluwa Ruby.
