While we can’t confirm this, it’s interesting that neither Nigerian singer Tems nor Atlanta rapper Future have come out to shoot down rumors that the Essence star is pregnant by the Turn Off The Lights emcee.
Last year, Tems and Future collaborated on the chart-topping hit Wait For You, featuring Drake. It was one of the songs that provided the Nigerian star international exposure following her other big hits, Vibe Out, Free Mind and Essence, featuring Wizkid.
But now Tems, born Temilade Openiyi, is in the news after rumors are swirling that she is pregnant by Future née Nayvadius DeMun Cash.
“Everyone seems to be saying that Tems is pregnant by Future,” wrote another. “Oh, my goodness!”
From what we know, Future is the father to eight children by the following women: Jessica Smith, Brittni Mealy, India J, Ciara, Joie Chavis, Eliza Seraphin, Cindy Parker and one unidentified woman who has chosen not to reveal herself.
On fatherhood, Future is quoted as saying: “If I was married, at home with my kids, man, it’d be way different,” he told Billboard in a 2022 interview. “That’s a life I never lived. It’s something you dream about. That’s one of my dreams. It’s easy for other people, but for me, it’s just like, man, this rock star lifestyle, it don’t gel well.”
He continued: “For even creating music, I just feel like I’m missing out on something if I don’t make the music a certain kind of way. I really dedicated my entire life to my fans. I dedicated my entire life to my music. Everything that I love, everything that I got, I put it in music. And the outcome is yet to be determined, still to this day.”
