Mr. T’s Daughter Erica Clark Recounts Chaotic Hulk Hogan Hotel Fight After WrestleMania Injury: ‘He Cracked My Dad’s Ribs’

Veteran comedian Erica Clark, daughter of wrestling icon and actor Mr. T, has resurfaced after a video clip went viral in which she shared a wild behind-the-scenes story involving Hulk Hogan, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and her father during the very first WrestleMania weekend in 1985.

The clip, posted by @wcntrlhq on Instagram, captures Clark narrating the incident in her signature unfiltered comedic style, recalling a childhood memory that was anything but scripted.

According to Clark, her father — who famously teamed up with Hulk Hogan in the WrestleMania main event — suffered a legitimate rib injury after a throw from Piper went wrong.

“He cracked my dad’s ribs,” Clark said, describing how Mr. T was rushed to the ER before returning bandaged to the hotel.

That’s when things took an even wilder turn.

Clark alleged that Hogan, still in his trademark yellow shorts, was in their hotel room when Piper came by to apologize. Instead of accepting the gesture, Hogan allegedly attacked Piper, slamming him into a wall and breaking a mirror.

Clark recalled chaos erupting as furniture was overturned, Hogan’s then-wife Linda tried to intervene, and her mother attempted to calm Mr. T — all while she and her sister sobbed as children watching the melee unfold.

“I didn’t even know Hulk Hogan’s real name was Terry until I heard his wife yelling it,” Clark joked in the viral clip.

The comedian also touched on how growing up as Mr. T’s daughter left her caught between awe and disbelief. At school, classmates often accused her of making up stories about her father’s fame.

“When I’d tell them he was at WrestleMania, the teachers would say, ‘Shut up, Erika,’” she recounted. “Nobody believed me.”

The resurfaced story has sparked a mix of nostalgia and debate online. Some fans see it as a rare glimpse into the excess-fueled wrestling world of the 1980s, while others view Clark’s account as comedic exaggeration layered over real family experiences.

“Yeah this isn’t true!! Wrestling fans know damn well Hogan wasn’t going to try and fight “Hot Rod”,” went one comment.

Another person commented: “This sounds like hulk Hogan and your dad jumped Roddy Piper for trying to apologize for an accident while they were high on coke.”

“Lmao one of the best things I’ve ever watched! Ty Erica for sharing 👏😂,” another said.

What remains certain is that Clark continues to bring her unique perspective as both a comedian and the daughter of one of wrestling’s most recognizable figures, reminding audiences that the spectacle of professional wrestling wasn’t confined to the ring.
