Rapper Sukihana is pregnant and expecting her fourth child, marking a new chapter in the life of the former ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ star.
The 34-year-old reality television personality shared the news in an interview with PEOPLE, revealing that she is currently in her second trimester and describing the pregnancy as both a blessing and a personal turning point.
Sukihana said she is “really excited” about welcoming another child and views the moment as more than simply expanding her family. For her, the pregnancy represents growth and a shift in perspective. “This isn’t just about becoming a mother again,” she explained. “It’s about growth. It’s about becoming the woman I’m meant to be.”
The rapper made the decision to keep her pregnancy private for several months before going public. She said the choice was intentional and rooted in her desire to protect both herself and her baby during the early stages. Sukihana told PEOPLE that she wanted to wait until the pregnancy had progressed and her baby was developing well before sharing the news with the world.
“This baby came into my life at a time when I truly needed a reminder of purpose and love,” she said. “I’ve lived a lot of my life loudly, but this moment is something I wanted to protect until I was ready to share it with the world.” She added that ensuring the baby’s health and development was her priority before announcing the pregnancy.
Now that the news is public, Sukihana says she has been embracing every moment of this stage of her life. Known for maintaining a strict diet and workout routine before becoming pregnant, the rapper admits that she has relaxed some of those rules while expecting.
She described this time as the “softest season” of her life, explaining that pregnancy has allowed her to let go of rigid routines and enjoy food more freely. “Before I got pregnant, I was very disciplined, and I wouldn’t even eat anything besides within my meal prep,” she said. “Now I eat a lot of different foods, and I’m not so hard on myself.”
The shift has also introduced new cravings. Sukihana joked that she has developed a sweet tooth during the pregnancy and is allowing herself to indulge more than she normally would. She said she recognizes that she is now eating for two and has embraced the experience with happiness. “I understand that I’m feeding another human,” she said. “So I’m actually enjoying not having a diet. I’m so happy with that. I can eat now.”
While she has not yet learned the sex of the baby, Sukihana says she plans to find out soon. Regardless of whether she is expecting a boy or a girl, she says the only thing that truly matters is delivering a healthy baby.
