Ari Fletcher is no stranger to controversy, but this time, she’s facing heat over her outfit choices around her son, Yosohn.

In 2022, a petition was launched on Change.org after a viral video of Fletcher in a club with her soon-to-be 5-year-old and others during a private celebration party. In it, Fletcher can be seen twerking on a friend while Yosohn plays with a balloon in the background. The plea requested giving the father, G Herbo, full custody of the child.

Yosohn is the only child that the rapper and Ari share together. Born on April 27, 2020, Yosohn is the center of Ari’s world.

The backlash began after Ari posted a series of photos on Instagram. She was seen wearing a revealing outfit while spending time with her young son at an event to celebrate three years of her makeup brand, Remedy By Ari.

While Ari is known for her daring fashion choices, some fans and critics were quick to criticize the star, claiming that her outfit was inappropriate for the occasion, particularly around a child.

A fan wrote, “I couldn’t wear this in front of my child. She looks amazing though!!!”

“Such an inappropriate outfit around a child, regardless if he’s yours or not. Clearly, not everyone is fit to be a parent,” another commented.

Others also defended her right to dress however she wants, regardless of her parenting status.

“all talking about her dress … it’s inappropriate in front of her son. It’s HER SON, HER EVENT 😂😂 y’all acting like she trynna be sexual. Y’all make everything sexual based. Yall the inappropriate ones,” a fan wrote.

Another added, “Yall complain about everything she do. He knows his mama is That Girl. I love that he seeing her be Great.”
