Blue Ivy Carter might be just 13, but she already moves like a seasoned pro in the spotlight, and sometimes, that means ducking out of it, too.

The eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z is currently riding high on her performance streak, touring alongside her mother on the Cowboy Carter world tour. But her latest headline moment didn’t come from the stage. It came from the streets of Paris and a close call that has fans both laughing and concerned.

Earlier this week, Blue was spotted arriving in the City of Lights ahead of Beyoncé’s three-night run at Stade de France. Dressed in effortlessly cool Parisian streetwear consisting of baggy jeans, a grey oversized tee, blue Adidas sneakers, and blonde wavy braids, as she stepped out of a black car ready to hit a restaurant.

But when she spotted paparazzi nearby, clearly wanting privacy, Blue wasn’t having it. She bolted.

Instead of stopping or striking a pose, Blue darted from the sidewalk and practically launched herself back into her waiting vehicle. In the now-viral clip, she can be seen sprinting toward the car and diving inside with such urgency that fans feared she nearly injured herself.

To be fair, this isn’t her first encounter with cameras, but it might be one of the most dramatic. And though the moment looked intense, Blue seemed unfazed.

The incident occurred while Blue Ivy was in Paris, where her superstar mom, Beyoncé, is slated to perform three shows at the iconic Stade de France starting Thursday evening.

Just a day earlier, Jay-Z was seen waving at fans and signing autographs outside Moët Hennessy, keeping things much more chill. Dressed in jeans, a white tee, and Timberlands, Hov looked every bit the laid-back dad while his daughter channeled Beyoncé’s signature intensity.

Blue made her debut as a dancer during the Renaissance World Tour and now has a solo moment on stage during Cowboy Carter, dancing to “Deja Vu” with choreography inspired by her mom’s iconic 2006 performance.

And while her moves on stage are polished and precise, her off-stage paparazzi evasion is equally iconic.

Luckily, Blue Ivy is okay and probably laughing it off by now.
