Gayle King’s journey to the stars has hit a cosmic speed bump—and it’s not just her own fears causing turbulence. The CBS Mornings anchor, already vocal about her jitters over joining Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin all-female space mission this spring, is now facing an eerie warning from an astrologer predicting a “violent accident” if she boards the rocket.

Los Angeles-based astrologer Ashley Sipes sent shockwaves through social media with a TikTok video urging Gayle King to heed her horoscope and skip the trip, as reported by Daily Mail.

‘Ms. King is headed to space, okay. She’s getting in a rocket mid-spring, I believe, I don’t know the exact date, so we’re going April 15. Her gut is telling her not to go. I’m telling her not to go,” astrologer Ashley Sipes declared, referencing an April 15 hypothetical launch date.

“I’m not saying something tragic will happen, but this doesn’t feel right.” The cryptic caution comes just days after King confessed on-air that she’s “terrified” but determined to push forward.

The ominous message comes just as King was announced as part of an elite group of women set to blast off aboard a Blue Origin mission. The exclusive lineup includes billionaire Lauren Sánchez, pop star Katy Perry, and several other influential women. The historic flight is set to be a landmark moment for women in space travel, but King has admitted to feeling anxious about the experience.

During a recent segment on CBS Mornings, King confessed to her co-hosts that she is “so afraid” and “terrified” of the journey. Despite her fears, she ultimately agreed to the mission after lengthy discussions with her children and her longtime best friend, Oprah Winfrey.

‘I don’t know how to explain being terrified and excited at the same time. It’s like how I felt about to deliver a baby,’ Gayle King confessed.

Sipes revealed that the King’s transit chart for April 15, a diagram depicting the positions of the planets and their relationship to an individual’s birth chart, suggested that the journey to space might be perilous.

“She’ll have transit Uranus squared her natal Pluto. This is a very slow-moving transit, and on its own, it doesn’t really concern me much. I would say the division of a business partnership of some kind, but then we have Jupiter squaring Mars, and Mars is in her second house; it’s at 17 degrees.

Sipes continued, “That is in the sign of Pisces – 17 degrees of Pisces warns of accidents and violence in travel. Jupitar, transit Jupitar, is activating this placement.”

“Not trying to be negative or fearmonger, I think it’s great if this is what she wants, but in the video, she’s clearly upset, and that in combination makes me extremely distraught as well.”
