Comedian B. Simone has ignited a firestorm of debate online with controversial comments regarding spirituality. In a recent Instagram video, the outspoken entertainer shared her personal views, questioning the effectiveness of tools like horoscopes, sage, and crystals in spiritual journeys—and the internet is split.

In the now-viral clip, B. Simone pulled no punches as she addressed her followers, stating that she was leaving certain past spiritual practices.

“This will be controversial, but I don’t care,” Simone began. “I’ve gotta get this off my chest and let y’all know I cannot go into 2025 with people who are still looking forward to their daily horoscope. I can’t do it. This war we are fighting, I need some intercessors. Y’all over here carrying around sage? Y’all still got rose quartz?”

The comedian admitted that she used to subscribe to such practices, even humorously recalling how she carried rose quartz in her bra, hoping it would help her find a husband.

“I get it,” she confessed. “I used to have the rose quartz in my bra like, ‘I’m gonna find me a man today.’ Like this rose, quartz will bring me my husband. I get it. I have been there. But what I’m saying is I’m not there anymore. And nothing against the people who believe in that. Just as for me and what I need in my life. I don’t need a tool. I need the blood.”

Simone’s firm stance culminated in her boldly declaring, “If you ain’t covered in the blood, you can’t go into next year with me.”

As expected, her remarks sparked a flurry of reactions online. Fans and critics alike took to social media to share their opinions, with some applauding her boldness and newfound faith, while others accused her of dismissing alternative spiritual paths.

One Twitter user wrote, “I respect B. Simone for standing in her truth, but she needs to realize that everyone’s spiritual journey is personal and different.” Meanwhile, others praised her for speaking openly about her faith, with a fan commenting, “We need more people like her who aren’t afraid to share their love for Jesus!”

Anticipating the backlash, B. Simone extended an olive branch to her critics. In the comments section of her post, she wrote, “Everyone under this post that wants to have a civilized conversation, please send me an Instagram direct message. Let’s really chat and get deep!!!”

“I would love to discuss this one-on-one with whoever wants to. Whoever disagrees, let’s talk. I want to share my encounter with Jesus Christ and why I believe the path of crystal, sage, witchcraft, and idolatry is dangerous.”
