A promising college student, 21-year-old Taylor J. Wilkinson, tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run accident on the night of Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
Wilkinson, a student at Fisher College in Boston pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in fashion merchandising, was walking alongside her 23-year-old sister when a vehicle struck them.
Wilkinson was fatally injured, while her sister survived with minor injuries. The driver fled the scene, and Boston Police have launched an investigation to locate the vehicle and hold the perpetrator accountable.
A Devastating Loss
Wilkinson’s death has left her family and the Fisher College community heartbroken. In a statement, Fisher College President Steve Rich described the profound impact of her loss:

According to a GoFundMe page created by her family, Taylor was walking hand-in-hand with her older sister when the tragedy occurred.
The page describes Taylor as “more than a daughter, a sister, and a friend—she was a force of nature” whose infectious laughter and positivity lit up every room she entered.
Police Investigation
Boston Police are searching for the suspect and described the vehicle involved as a dark-colored 2021–2023 Mercedes SUV with front-end damage, a missing right-side mirror, and damage to the front light.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Wilkinson suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
