Cardi B took to Instagram to reveal that she has given birth to a baby boy.
Cardi posted a touching image of her cradling her newborn son alongside husband Offset on the hospital bed.
The post was simply captioned, “9/4/21🦕💙🧸.”
Cardi B announced that she and her husband were expecting baby number two during the BET Awards in June.
Cardi took to the stage with the Migos for their performance of “Type Sh—t,” and rocking a black and silver embroidered Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit. The suit featured a sheer panel that proudly showed off her baby bump.
The rap couple is already parents to daughter Kulture Kiar — 3 next month. Offset is also father to daughter Kalea, 6, and sons Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11, from previous relationships.
It was not much of a surprise that Cardi is welcoming another child. She’s been having a ball with motherhood since giving birth to Kulture.
“I just wanna be home all the time. I don’t care about going out anymore. The things that I thought matter, it didn’t really matter. I’m just so focused on my kid. I don’t be sad for long because whenever I’m with my baby, it’s like, ‘Yeah, whatever. F—k everybody’,” she said in her Harper’s Bazaar interview in 2019.
Despite having issues, Cardi revealed that communication was the key to getting things back on track in her marriage and making baby no.2.
“We listened to each other, communicated, prayed and then God blessed us and our family with another little blessing,” she captioned a post of Offset cradling her baby bump. “Our home feels so blissful and very busy 😩but we are ready and so happy!! Thank you soo much everyone for the congrats and well wishes 🤗”
