The NFL star ditched the usual fancy diner to rent out Waffle House to celebrate his wife’s 38th birthday.
CiCi was thrilled at the surprise birthday bash and couldn’t stop gushing about how her husband went all out to make her day special.
Ciara and Russell Wilson and Ciara began dating in early 2015, tying the knot in a classy ceremony on July 6, 2016, in the UK after a brief engagement in March 2016. The lovebirds are famous for their public displays of affection on social media.
For her birthday this year, the 34-year-old Denver Broncos quarterback took his wife, who is pregnant with her fourth child, family, and friends to the chain restaurant.
In the video, Ciara looked comfy in an oversized Gucci sweatshirt with her favorite hashbrowns, cheese, a sandwich, and pickles order.
“Oh, my gosh! Babe! This is like the next level. This is like top, top! My honey knows how much I love Waffle House! Hey baby, this is like, for sure, one of the most epic things you’ve ever done,” Ciara said to the camera.
Russell Wilson replied sweetly, “I know that pregnant belly wants some waffles and some eggs.”
The singer shared the thrilling footage with her Instagram fans, enjoying herself, basking in love with her husband in the booth.
Before the party, the NFL star paid his wife a worthy birthday tribute on Instagram with a slideshow of their family.
“Happy Birthday to my Queen, @ciara ❤️,” Wilson captioned.
The night ended on a high note with a pile of doughnuts topped with lit birthday candles while everyone sang happy birthday to the singer.
