It was a day to remember for little Halo as his superstar parents, Halle Bailey and DDG, came together to celebrate his very first birthday.
The former couple, who publicly ended their relationship back in October, put their differences aside to throw a spectacular bash for their son, complete with a show-stopping red Ferrari F8 as a gift.
The birthday party, held on Sunday, December 22, was nothing short of extravagant. Rapper and YouTuber DDG shared glimpses of the celebration on his Snapchat, giving fans an exclusive look at the fun-filled event. In one particularly heartwarming clip, party attendees could be heard chanting “Halo! Halo!” as the sleek Ferrari made its entrance. Though baby Halo seemed adorably oblivious to the luxury gift, his dad couldn’t contain his excitement, beaming from ear to ear as he lifted his son high in the air.
Additional footage from the celebrations highlights various celebrities and influencers attending the event, including a clip with YouTubers Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz, joined by their children. Another video captures a life-sized representation of the children’s character, CoComelon, roaming around the party, later seen engaging and playing with Halo in a different clip.
Halle Bailey, glowing in the moment, was every bit the proud mother. She captured the special moments on her phone and even took the lead in singing “Happy Birthday” to her little boy. The emotional moment brought Halle to tears, as she poured her heart into celebrating her son’s milestone birthday.
In a social media post, Halle exclaimed, “365 days ago my baby came, can’t believe he’s 1 !! will post more later today.” Shortly after, her sister Chlöe expressed, “A year ago today I became an auntie happy birthday my Halo.” Right after, DDG shared, “THE BEST BABY IN THE WORLD JUST TURNED 1!”
Halle and DDG celebrated the arrival of their son Halo in December 2023. The star of The Little Mermaid shared the news of her first child’s birth through an Instagram post on January 6.
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you,” Halle wrote in the caption of her post at the time.
