A viral video showing a Black woman calmly continuing her work while being followed and questioned by a white resident in a Michigan neighborhood has got many talking on social media.

The Black woman, identified as Reni Ramos, recorded the encounter as she moved from house to house for work. In the video, the unidentified white resident insists on trailing her, saying, “Yes, I’m going to follow you to every house,” after Ramos questioned why she was being followed.
Despite the confrontation, Ramos maintained her composure, even turning the camera toward the woman and continuing on her route without escalation.
At one point, Ramos addressed the situation directly, asking, “You know I have a permit, do you have a permit?”
The resident responded, “I don’t need a permit, I’m a resident,” as she continued to shadow Ramos.
The interaction culminated with Ramos approaching a homeowner to conduct business while the woman stood nearby, still monitoring her movements.
The video has since drawn significant attention on social media, with many praising Ramos for her calm and confident demeanor in the face of what viewers described as unnecessary surveillance.
