Actress and producer Jada Pinkett Smith has taken delivery of the first five copies of her long-awaited book ‘Worthy’, surrounded by her family and friends.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, the philanthropist pulled out copies of the book from a delivery box amid congratulatory comments and applause from her husband, Will Smith, her kids and her mom.
“Thank you guys for being so supportive…” Jada, overwhelmed by the show of appreciation and happy chaos, managed to say.
The caption of Jada’s post on IG on Sunday further weighed in heavily on the warmth and support of her entire family on the “Worthy journey”.
“My family has been on this Worthy journey with me in the making of this book and in the making of my life. Peeling back the curtain and writing about what we have survived together – wasn’t easy. But the beautiful part is it reveals how we gained our resilience and strength from our intense love for one another – to get through it all,” the caption read.
The revealing memoir which takes readers on a journey from her challenging upbringing in Baltimore to navigating the complexities of Hollywood, will hit stores on Oct. 17.
Talking about the much-anticipated book in previous media engagements, Jada Pinkett Smith disclosed that the memoir delves into her captivating youth and the meaningful friendships and experiences that have moulded her into the woman she has become.
The comments section of her post has also been flooded by congratulatory messages.
