Kenya Moore’s hair care line has reportedly been taken off Sally Beauty Supply store shelves following a scandal involving revenge porn allegations.
The reality TV star and entrepreneur, best known for her role on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” may experience a significant business setback if news of stores boycotting her products are true.
The controversy started earlier this year when allegations surfaced that Moore had shared explicit content of RHOA newcomer Brittany Eady. The incident brought Kenya Moore under intense scrutiny, resulting in her indefinite suspension from the show, which she has been a part of since season five.
Late last night, celebrity gossip blogger @iamatlien sent an email that directs store managers on how to respond to the Kenya Moorr revenge porn situation in case a customer raises concerns.
The email reportedly read: “If your store receives customer concerns about recent publicity surrounding Kenya Moore, then associates should respond with the following statement.”
@iamatlien continued to read off her screen, “It says this means Kenya Moore products are not being restocked. We expect these products will be unavailable by the end of 2024. This was part of a larger business decision made earlier this year. If pressed, the associate can respond with the following: On Kenya’s alleged action. Sally Beauty does not condone the actions of Kenya Moore, who is reportedly accused.
“On the discontinuation of products due to the allegations: Kenya Moore Haircare is due to be discontinued in stores and online prior to the recent publicity surrounding Kenya Moore.”
“Kenya Moore Haircare is being discontinued at all selling locations in-store and online,” the email ended.
But before ending her segment, @iamatlien disclosed that she was just disclosing details of the email but had not had the opportunity to verify its authenticity.
She was the same blogger who broke the news of Kenya Moore’s dismissal from RHOA.
“Listen, I got this in the email, so I have to put this disclaimer out. Disclaimer: I don’t know if this is true or false; someone sent this to me… I’m just the bearer of bad news.”
Moore has yet to address the situation publicly.
