A recent Real Housewives of Atlanta episode has fans showing concern and expressing empathy after one of the show’s stars suffered a medical emergency while on set.

It all began when the housewives took a trip to Birmingham, Alabama for Kenya Moore’s halftime performance at the Magic City Classic football game. Moore, 52, decided not to share that she would be performing at the game, leaving her costars to grow frustrated because they sensed something was up but didn’t know exactly what.

Her radio silence caused several verbal altercations between her and the others, and soon enough, Marlo Hampton and Shereé Whitfield went to Moore’s hotel room door and began kicking and banging on it while threatening to call the police because Moore wouldn’t speak to them.

But the tensions ceased when it was discovered that Moore had a health scare and was suffering from “numbness in her left arm” according to People

“I don’t know where I am,” Moore said the morning she was scheduled to perform.

“I need an ambulance please … I’m dizzy, and I’m having a hard time breathing,” she further told Bravo’s production crew.

When Moore called 911, she was heard saying “I’ve just recovered from COVID, and I don’t know what it could be now.”

Medics rushed to the scene and transported Moore to the hospital. Meanwhile, her costars began praying for her full recovery.

Later, Whitfield FaceTimed the 1993 Miss USA winner, who shared that “I had a fever of 102, and I’m waiting for the other tests to come back. They couldn’t get my vein, so I couldn’t get the IV push.”

When Moore returned home, Hampton sent the Detroit native flowers to extend an olive branch. They have since reunited and are friends again.

“Bit*h, I said, ‘Get well soon’ — not immediately,” Marlo joked.

Moore then revealed that she was diagnosed with the flu.

They did the chest X-ray, they couldn’t find anything abnormal,” she said. “They gave me some prescriptions. All this back-to-back sickness, it’s just something is not right.”

She further added that missing the Magic City Classic was “a little heartbreaking.”
