Latto, in partnership with some major name brands, raised more than $500,000 in gifts.
The 24-year-old rapper gave back to her community in a big way at her third annual Christmas In Clayco event for her Win Some Give Some foundation.
According to a press release, Latto donated over $500,000 worth of gifts to children in her hometown of Clayton County, Georgia.
The “Big Energy” rapper lopped in donations or sponsorships from brands she worked with recently, including UGG, Savage x Fenty, Apple, Liquid Death, Wingstop, Rap Snacks, HALLS, Camille Rose, and more.
The hefty donation was twice the amount she had given away a year prior.
The Grammy-nominated rapper presented the gifts through her Win Some Give Some foundation, established in 2021 to give at-risk youth the resources and support to achieve a lifetime of equal opportunity and success.
In a press release, District 1 Commissioner Dr. Alieka Anderson applauded Latto’s giving spirit.
“We are ecstatic to bring back Christmas in Clayton for the third time. This event allows us to give back to Clayton County residents and children just in time for the holidays.
“Words cannot express how amazing it is to have Latto return to Clayton County to help spread some holiday cheer throughout our community. Her generosity is sincerely appreciated by our children and our community.”
In a clip of the event, held at the Clayton State University Gymnasium in Morrow, Georgia, kids of all ages attended the special holiday event.
In the footage, Latto interacted with lovely children, helping them to pick out gifts scattered around the massive gymnasium, filled with toys, dolls, bikes, and fancy electronics.
This event took place a few days before the first official Latto Day and a year after Latto received the key to Clayco County at the second annual giveaway.
Latto grew up in Clayton, a suburban community, located just south of downtown Atlanta.
