After months of subtle hints, tropical backdrops, and Instagram soft launches, Megan Thee Stallion and NBA star Klay Thompson have officially hard-launched their relationship.
Klay, now playing with the Dallas Mavericks, posted a carousel of vacation pics on July 10, and nestled in the middle was the photo: a shot of Klay kissing a woman who fans quickly identified as none other than Megan. The caption was a cryptic but breezy “Sweet Bells son 🌴🥥,” which only added to the buzz. Then Draymond Green dropped a one-word comment, “Killa!” and it was game over. The internet exploded.
Fans of both stars were already side-eyeing a possible romance. Just days earlier, Megan posted poolside vacation photos, and in the background of one image, a man who looked suspiciously like Klay. Then Klay posted his own version of a poolside vibe. Social media detectives didn’t need much more to connect the dots.
But while everyone was busy celebrating the hot new couple, some fans couldn’t help but ask: What happened to Torrey Craig?
Megan and the Chicago Bulls forward had a very public but very quiet vibe just months ago. Their chemistry first hit TikTok in August 2024, when Megan accidentally (or maybe not-so-accidentally) posted a “Couples Challenge” video. Fast forward to now, and that relationship appears to have quietly fizzled, seemingly right around the time Megan was back in the headlines for her explosive Coachella set in April.
As for Torrey Craig? The lowkey baller hasn’t said a word. He’s a devoted dad to his son Braylon and, so far, seems to be minding his business.
