Mikalah Sultan and Terrence J celebrated their marriage after years of friendship and adventures together. The couple exchanged vows at the stunning Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai, UAE, on Tuesday, November 11.

“Just being able to get everyone we love in the same room to celebrate the deep love and connection TJ and I have is beyond fulfilling,” Sultan shared with PEOPLE.

Approximately 130 family members and friends attended the ceremony, with many earning their first passport stamp for the occasion. A special highlight was having Anthony Anderson, star of Black-ish, officiate the ceremony, bringing his signature charm to the celebration.

Mikalah made a breathtaking entrance as she walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s timeless ballad, “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” This song held special significance, as it was not only the first dance they shared after getting engaged but also the last dance she would ever share with her grandfather. The couple honored their late family members during the ceremony, adding an emotional touch to the glamorous occasion.

In line with Terrence J’s style, the reception was both thoughtful and extravagant. Guests enjoyed live performances by a violinist, a saxophonist, a flutist, and a full band, along with captivating belly dancers from Connect Entertainment. The reception’s decor was awash in elegant shades of white, ivory, and cream.

The couple’s culinary offerings were anything but ordinary, treating guests to a four-part dining experience that incorporated canapés, a raw bar, Carbone’s renowned spicy rigatoni, truffle pizzas, and wagyu sliders. Terrence described it perfectly: “From Nobu to Carbone to caviar service, we’ll have four different food experiences.”

As a grand finale, the newlyweds wowed everyone with a choreographed waltz set to Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” a moment that quickly made waves online, showcasing their blend of romance and rhythm.

Terrence, 43, and Mikalah, 27, first met in Manchester, England, years ago and have since become inseparable.
