Grammy Award-winning singer Monica has confirmed her participation in Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated “Pink Friday 2 World Tour.”

The exciting announcement came during Monica’s appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024.

Monica, known for timeless classics like “Don’t Take It Personal,” “The Boy Is Mine,” and “Before You Walk Out of My Life,” revealed her excitement about hitting the stage alongside Nicki Minaj.

“One thing that no one knows until today is that I’m going on the ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour with Nicki Minaj,” Monica shared with the EGOT host. “It is starting on March 1, and I get a chance to hit all these cities that mean so much to me.”

Expressing gratitude towards Minaj for acknowledging her impact, Monica emphasized the significance of being remembered in the music industry.

“I’m really grateful for Nicki because she is one of those people that has always said ‘Monica meant everything to my childhood,'” Monica explained. “Some people act like they forget, so it’s pretty cool not to be forgotten and to be called for things like such. So we’re going to show up and show out.”

Monica’s decision to join the tour follows her candid discussion about feeling underappreciated in the music industry during an appearance on LeBron James’ talk show, “The Shop’s Uninterrupted Live Tour,” in Atlanta last October.

Despite the lack of awards recognition, Monica emphasized her dedication to her craft and the joy she finds in her music career.

Nicki Minaj had previously announced the “Pink Friday 2 World Tour” on Instagram in December 2023, revealing multiple tour stops across various cities, including London, Toronto, Paris, Philadelphia, Boston, and Las Vegas.

The tour commences in Oakland, California, on March 1 and continues through June 12, promising an unforgettable experience for fans worldwide.
