Comedian Ms. Pat recently shared an emotional story that highlights the kindness of fellow comedian Katt Williams. In a heartfelt recollection, she revealed how Williams stepped up for her during one of the darkest moments of her life by paying for her father’s funeral.

Ms. Pat has always been known for her raw humor and unfiltered storytelling. The comedian recently guest-starred on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay and shared insights about the complex relationship she had with her late biological father from the time they first met until his passing.

According to Ms Patt, When she first met her father back when she was around 12 or 13, he slapped her unprovoked, and a fight ensued between her, him, and her brother. But eventually, she forgave him, even staying by his side to care for him until his death.

Only a day or so following her father’s passing, Pat received an invitation to go on tour with Katt Williams. Facing difficulties in dealing with funeral costs, the actress expressed her surprise when Williams, having caught wind of her discussion, intervened with a generous gesture.

“He said, ‘What you doing?’ I said, ‘My daddy just died. He died Monday. I’m just tryna make the funeral arrangements.'” According to Ms. Pat, what followed left her utterly stunned. Katt Williams walked behind a door, returned with a stack of cash, and handed it to her, saying, “Go bury your dad and come back.”

The act of kindness didn’t stop there. Ms. Pat revealed that Williams refused to let her pay him back despite her offers to return the money. “I was blown away! It was a couple [thousand] dollars,” she said. “And I tried to pay it back, and he said, ‘You don’t owe me nothing.'”

“I always tell him thank you because he didn’t have to do that. In this world, in this game, there ain’t a lot of people that will do that,” she shared.

Ms. Pat revealed she didn’t know Williams personally before joining his tour.

This isn’t the first time Katt Williams has extended a helping hand to others. He covered the cost of Melba Moore’s on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has donated funds to his former neighborhood and other celebrities, including Boosie, after his release from prison.
