Eight months into the end of their 13-year relationship, Nia Long filed for legal and physical custody of her 11-year-old son Kez Sunday Udoka, claiming that her ex-fiancé Ime Udoka “has failed” to support their child.

In the paperwork Nia Long filed on Aug. 14 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, she requested that her ex should have “reasonable visitation” that is “consistent with the child’s best interest.”

After a long legal battle over their son, it appears the case has been settled as both parties have agreed on a price for child support

Nia Long will be getting over $32,000 in monthly child support from her ex-partner, Ime Udoka.

Court documents obtained by The Blast state since Ime Udoka’s monthly disposable income is $465,804, and their son resides with Nia Long 95% of the time, the payment for child support would be $56,389.

However, the two mutually agreed upon $32,500 monthly child support and joint custody of their 12-year-old son.

The settlement includes reasonable visitation for Udoka, but only after collaborating with Long. He has to send a written notice and plan for the visit at least ten ahead via email to Nia Long.

Ime Udoka will also be responsible for their son’s medical and dental insurance. As for education, the pair will collaborate on matters, but his former partner will have the final say in all decisions.

Ime Udoka and Nia Long went through a public divorce following the former Boston Celtics head coach’s suspension last September for an alleged affair Udoka had with a female subordinate with the team.

During the split, Nia Long issued a statement exclusively to PEOPLE

“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community during this difficult time means so much to me. I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

Shortly after his suspension, Ime Udoka apologized to his family and the entire Celtics organization, including fans and players, “for letting them down.”
