Nicki Minaj was reportedly placed under arrest by Dutch police while live-streaming at an airport in the Netherlands.

According to Deadline, the arrest occurred on suspicion of carrying marijuana in her personal belongings as she was en route to Manchester for a scheduled performance.

Despite marijuana being legal in the Netherlands, flying with it is illegal as airplanes fall under federal jurisdiction.

The rapper, currently on her “Pink Friday 2” World Tour, denied breaking any laws through multiple social media posts.

Minaj appeared calm and compliant in videos shared online during her interactions with local authorities. Her representatives have yet to comment on the incident.

Minaj recorded her discussions with authorities, questioning the need to leave her party and later being informed of her arrest. She provided live updates on Twitter and Instagram.

“Police said they have to unload all your luggage and search everything,” she was told by the pilot of her jet.

When she asked why, the pilot explained that a policeman requested it because she filmed him reviewing her possessions.

“They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show,” Minaj captioned a video. “They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now saying they’re waiting on customs. This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal.”

In another update, Minaj mentioned a pilot’s request for her to remove an Instagram post.

“Now they said they found weed & that another group of ppl have to come here to weigh the pre-rolls. Keep in mind they took my bags without consent. My security has already advised them those pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yea & the pilot wants me to take my ig post down,” she tweeted.

Her last update, shared three hours ago, stated, “Now they said I have to go 5 mins away to make a statement about my security to the police precinct.”

Despite the incident, her performance at the Co-Op Live in Manchester has not been canceled.

The venue alerted fans via Twitter that the concert has been delayed, stating, “Please note that general admission and premium doors for tonight’s @NickiMinaj show will now open at 19:00.”
