Rihanna gave fans a glimpse into her life as a mother in a recent social media post.
The Fenty founder shared an adorable video of her one-year-old son, RZA, attempting to escape his playpen. The video was accompanied by a hilarious caption that perfectly sums up her motherhood experience.
Earlier this year, in Interview Magazine, Rihanna opened up about her life with two young boys and praised Rocky as a co-parent and partner.
Rihanna and Rocky’s son RZA was born in May 2022, making them first-time parents. They welcomed Riot Rose in August 2023. In an April 2024 interview, Rihanna stated that she would consider having a third child.
“I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two,” Rihanna told the outlet. “I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
But Rihanna may be leaning toward a girl more after sharing what it takes to be a boy mom with her fans.
The 50-second clip shows Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son, RZA Myers, playing in her playpen before climbing the rails to escape.
In the video, with the background music set to the Mission Impossible theme song, RZA channeled his inner Tom Cruise as he scaled the sides of his pack in play, attempting to escape.
In the upload, RZA is dressed in white and yellow pajamas and begins climbing the side of the playpen. He eventually makes it to the top, but he swings his legs back around to the inside of the playpen to try a different approach.
When it appears that little Fenty baby has almost gotten over the unprotected side, Rihanna’s hand appears in the frame and gently places him back into the play pin.
In her caption, Rihanna wrote, “Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport,” alongside a group of face-palm, blue heart, and shrug emojis.
Fans can’t wait to see more precious moments from Rihanna’s growing family and little RZA’s adorable antics as he continues to steal the show!
