The romance rumors between Manchester United star Jadon Sancho and rapper Saweetie just got a lot more interesting. The soccer player has all but confirmed his relationship with the “My Type” rapper by getting her middle name, Qiava, tattooed behind his left ear.
Over the summer, the two were spotted at Apollo Tattoo & Piercing Studio in Santa Monica, and witnesses say Sancho left with fresh ink. Right behind his left ear, in delicate cursive, now sits the name “Qiava.” For those who know their Saweetie trivia, that’s her middle name.
But that’s not all. Sancho also covered up a previous tattoo on his hand that read “her only” with a colorful floral design. Which fans think means the old flame has officially been erased.
Eyewitnesses at the tattoo shop told it all. The pair weren’t exactly low-key. Saweetie and Sancho were reportedly kissing, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company the entire time he was in the chair.
This is hardly the first time Sancho has been caught giving Saweetie VIP treatment in his life. Back in May, fans spotted her face on his phone lock screen while he celebrated Chelsea’s Europa Conference League win. And earlier in the season, cameras caught the two sharing a warm hug at Stamford Bridge.
For Saweetie, 32, the ink might just be the latest sign that she’s got the UK star wrapped around her finger. Reacting to the news, the rapper shared an interesting meme to her official X account (formerly Twitter), seemingly expressing shock that the tattoo parlor leaked her time with her rumored boyfriend.
The Grammy-nominated rapper has been on a high since her breakout in 2017, with hits like “My Type” and the double-platinum “Icy Girl” solidifying her spot in hip-hop.
As for Sancho, he’s facing changes off the pitch too. Reports say he’s likely on his way out of Manchester United, with Serie A side Roma showing interest.
