Ghanaian dancing duo Abigail and Afronita have made their mark on the international stage by securing third place in the 17th season of the popular talent show, Britain’s Got Talent.
The thrilling final took place on Sunday night, June 2, 2024.
The dynamic pair consists of 20-year-old dance teacher Afronita and her seven-year-old protégé Abigail.
They competed against a diverse group of finalists, including a choir, a magician, and a Japanese skipping group, showcasing their exceptional talent and earning the admiration of both the judges and the audience.
The top prize was claimed by singer Sydnie Christmas, followed by magician Jack Rhodes in second place.
As the winner, Sydnie will receive a cash prize of £250,000 and the prestigious opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.
Abigail and Afronita’s journey to the final was marked by their impressive victory in the fourth semi-final, where they won the public vote and secured their spot in Sunday’s grand finale.
