Tennis royalty Serena Williams just flexed her mind-blowing post-baby glow-up in a series of gym selfies that left the internet equal parts impressed and shook.

Serena Williams is trending again, and this time it’s not for her tennis dominance or mompreneur moves. It’s her jaw-dropping post-workout selfies that have the internet doing double-takes and double-taps.

On July 11, the 23-time Grand Slam champion shared a series of fierce mirror selfies on Instagram, showing off her toned arms and newly sculpted six-pack abs in a sleek all-black workout set. With her hair tossed up in a no-nonsense bun, Serena posed confidently in a sports bra and leggings, captioning the post, “Working out and working on my angles.”

But let’s be clear, the “angles” weren’t the only thing working. Her abs were popping. Her waist was snatched. And her fans were gagged.

The reaction was instant. Comments flooded in with fire emojis, heart eyes, and praise for her fierce dedication. One fan wrote, “Sis came back with a vengeance!” while another said, “Serena, you’ve always been strong, but now you look sculpted!”

Still, not everyone was just clapping. A few followers voiced concern, wondering if Serena’s slimmed-down, leaner frame signaled a new chapter or hinted at something deeper.

“We love the dedication, but Serena, are you okay?” one fan asked. “You don’t need to disappear to glow up.”

The conversation took on new dimensions considering the tennis icon’s openness about her post-baby fitness journey. Serena welcomed her second daughter, Adira River, in August 2023, and since then, she’s been on a mission.

In December 2024, she hit her weight loss goal, and by January, she was already back in the gym sharing candid updates. She posted a video doing lighter-weight squats and kept it real with fans: “This is not my usual weight, but it’ll do until I get back to where I need to be.”

During her career, Serena was the definition of power and athleticism. Her muscular build intimidated opponents and inspired an entire generation of young Black girls to see beauty in strength.
