R&B singer Summer Walker publicly thanked Ciara for her unwavering support during a challenging period in her life.

Summer Walker is showing love where it’s due. On the latest episode of her Over It radio series, the 28-year-old singer took a heartfelt moment to give Ciara her flowers for being a guiding light during one of the most challenging periods of her life.

As fans may recall, Summer previously made headlines for her tumultuous and very public drama with her ex and the father of her first child, record producer London on Da Track. While their back-and-forth played out across social media, Summer found herself in an emotionally vulnerable place. She also shares twins with LVRD Pharoh (birth name Larry), though their relationship remained more private.

During the episode, Summer opened up about how Ciara stepped in as a friend and mentor when things got tough.

“I just want to say this real quick,” Summer began, addressing Ciara directly. “How me and you met, I just want to shout out the big sister, the mentor, that you are. You truly are a girl’s girl, if anyone ever had to wonder.”

The R&B star went on to recount a pivotal moment when Ciara reached out to her during a dark time. Summer candidly shared how the singer’s advice helped her regain focus amid public feuds and personal struggles.

“I was crashing out, down bad, about my baby daddy,” Summer admitted. “You called me and reached out. You was like, ‘Girl, no, don’t act like that. Don’t do all that. God will take care of everything in the end. Just focus on your career and being a great mom.’”

Clearly moved by Ciara’s words and actions, Summer emphasized her gratitude. “And I just want to say I appreciate that,” she said sincerely.

Summer’s reflections on this moment reveal her growth as an artist and as a person. While her struggles with public drama were once a focal point in her life, she’s now channeling that energy into her career and motherhood, just as Ciara advised.

As for Ciara, her mentorship and willingness to lift up other women is a reminder that true queens fix each other’s crowns.
