In December, Shine My Crown reported that recently engaged reality TV star Tamar Braxton alleged that a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and her husband threatened her, sparking “real beef.” Since then, the recently-engaged mother of one has confirmed that the couple in question is Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker.

While appearing on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, the singer and songwriter was asked to reveal who the housewife in question was, with the show’s host Andy Cohen guessing it was either Eva Marcille or Drew Sidora.

She responded by stating that the accused is a “full housewife,” causing Cohen to guess it was Burruss. She then looks into the camera and takes a sip of her drink.

“And it really did happen, I’m not lying,” Braxton told Cohen. “Like, I’m not looking for attention or drama or anything like that, but that sh*t really happened, it was not cute.”

“I thought you and Kandi mended everything after Big Brother,” Cohen replied, to which Tamar responded, “I thought so, too. I had no idea. I’ll tell you the story later.”

The news comes three months after she admitted on Instagram that she had a story to tell.

“Y’all wanna hear about it?” she began on her Instagram Stories. “I got threatened by a [peach emoji] and her man. I feel like if I would have did what they did…they would have told the world. But because they don’t want y’all to know how f*cked up they are as people and city officials…they ain’t said s*it.”

The Love and War star continued: “It’s beef and it is a real beef cause yo husband stepped to me! PERIODT! Merry Christmas.”

The former The Real co-host didn’t name any names, but some speculated she was pointing the finger at Eva Marcille and her husband Michael Sterling, a federal prosecutor who currently served as a former senior advisor to the mayor of Atlanta.

Others thought the Maryland-born singer was referring to Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker. Tamar and Kandi have feuded publicly in the past when they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. In one episode, Tamar said that Kandi “didn’t like her.” The two reportedly have known each other since they were children.

Then there are some that suggested that the 45-year-old is brewing unnecessary beef as a strategic move to get a peach and star on the 15th season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

In a 2020 interview, the most famous peach of all, NeNe Leakes shared what she thought about Tamar possibly joining the highly-coveted spot on the franchise.

“You know what I would do? I would take a peach from somebody that’s holding one that don’t need to hold one, that’s super boring, give it to somebody else, and mix it up… And half of the girls will be gone because they’re so boring chile,” NeNe gushed.

“I think Tamar would be a great addition. She’s entertaining, so she’s not boring… She’s got a lot to say, she’s opinionated. I’d love to see her come. I’d welcome her with open arms. Come to me, Tamar!”

At the time of this writing, the Tuckers have not addressed Braxton’s claims.
