‘This Wasn’t Drunk — Someone Spiked My Drink’: Woman Shares Spring Break Ordeal in Houston

by Gee NY

A woman is speaking out after what she described as a spring break trip in Houston, Texas, turned into a frightening ordeal involving alleged drink spiking, a physical altercation, and a hospital visit.

In a widely shared video, the woman recounted how a night out at a local nightclub quickly escalated after she believed her drink had been tampered with.

“I get spiked… off of two shots,” she said. “This is not a drunk messed up — this is somebody put something in my drink messed up.”

Night Out Takes a Dangerous Turn

According to her account, she had gone out with a friend and several acquaintances she had not met before. The group visited a club identified as “The Address,” where she said she initially felt fine before suddenly becoming severely disoriented.

She described losing memory of events inside the club and becoming violently ill.

“I don’t even remember anything of me in the club anymore,” she said.

Altercation Amid Confusion

The situation escalated further as the group left the venue. The woman said she became involved in a confrontation with one of the individuals she was with, amid confusion and heightened emotions.

She recalled being physically struck but said her memory of the incident remains unclear due to her condition at the time.

“I just remember getting hit… and she kept trying to hit my face,” she said.

Hospitalization and Aftermath

The woman said she was later treated at a hospital and has since been released. In addition to physical injuries, she reported losing personal belongings, including her car keys, resulting in additional expenses.

“I did not have a good trip like I was supposed to,” she said.

Warning to Others

Following the incident, she urged others to be cautious when going out, particularly with unfamiliar groups.

“Do not go out with folks that you don’t know,” she warned. “Especially if you don’t know how they act.”

Ongoing Safety Concerns

While authorities have not publicly commented on this specific case, incidents involving alleged drink spiking continue to raise safety concerns, particularly in nightlife settings during high-traffic periods like spring break.

Advocates stress the importance of staying with trusted individuals, monitoring drinks closely, and seeking immediate help if symptoms such as sudden dizziness, confusion, or memory loss occur.

The woman’s account has since sparked renewed conversation online about personal safety, trust, and the risks associated with tampered drinks in social environments.
