White House Video Mistakenly Refers to Kamala Harris as ‘Madam President’ During ‘Queer Eye’ Meeting

In a viral White House video mishap this week, Vice President Kamala Harris was mistakenly referred to as “Madam President” in a caption during her meeting with the cast of the Netflix show “Queer Eye.”

The incident occurred during a discussion between Harris and the cast members, where one addressed her as “Madam Vice President.”

However, the caption on the video read “Madam President,” sparking speculation and amusement on social media.

The video, posted on Harris’ official X account on Tuesday, captured the moment without correction, prompting humorous reactions online.

Harris, 59, acknowledged the meeting and the caption slip-up in a message accompanying the video, thanking the cast for their visit and their support for LGBTQI+ rights.

This isn’t the first time such an error has occurred.

President Biden, 81, has mistakenly referred to Harris as “president” on several occasions during his term, most recently during a news conference with Kenyan President William Ruto last month.

Despite occasional slip-ups, Harris has consistently downplayed any speculation about potentially replacing Biden in a future presidency, emphasizing her support for Biden and his ability to serve.

“Joe Biden is going to be fine. So that is not going to come to fruition,” Harris told the Associated Press last year.

Both Biden and Harris are expected to be officially renominated for president and vice president in a virtual setting before the deadline for the Ohio ballot on August 7.

The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to take place in Chicago from August 19 to 22.

The incident with the video caption adds a light-hearted moment to the ongoing political landscape, highlighting the challenges and occasional humor that come with high-profile public appearances and digital communications.
