Another woman has come out with troubling allegations against R&B singer Trey Songz, who has been in the midst of several legal troubles in the past couple of years.
Just months after a rape case against him was dropped due to expired statue of limitations, a woman now claims that the Say Aah star punched her at a bowling alley in New York last month.
TMZ first reported the story, which details the brutal attack. According to the woman, the singer and songwriter, born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, repeatedly punched and dragged her by her hair in the venue’s bathroom. She was later taken to a hospital to seek medical treatment for visible injuries.
Trey Songz has denied the allegations, and his attorney, Mitchell Schuster, maintains that his client is innocent.
“A source close to the investigation informs us that [Trey Songz] has been cooperative with authorities and expects that when all the evidence is reviewed, he will be exonerated,” Schuster told TMZ. “This is another instance where those involved try to blame the celebrity with hopes of getting fame or riches.”
The allegations come shortly after charges were dropped against the star from allegations that came to the surface earlier this year. In a lawsuit filed in February, a womam, only identified as Jane Doe, sought $20 million in damages for raping her following a consensual relationship. The woman alleged that after attending a party at the singer’s home, he anally raped her after she rejected his request to have anal sex. She says she pleaded with him to stop throughout the intercourse and would later need surgery for “severe anal tearing,” the lawsuit states.
Two other women have also accused Trey Songz for assault. In 2018, a woman sought $10 million in damages after she accused the singer of sexually assaulting her at a Miami nightclub. And in 2021, a former basketball player at the University of Las Vegas’ women’s basketball team tweeted that “Trey Songz is A Rapist.” She later released a statement stating that he raped her at a “well known Las Vegas hotel.” And then there was video that leaked earlier this year which purports to show the singer exposing a woman’s breast.
