Tragedy struck on what was supposed to be a celebratory occasion as a woman was fatally shot on her 60th birthday by her own husband, who allegedly grew weary of being yelled at.

Timothy Darnell Lewis, 59, from Wisconsin, now faces serious charges including first-degree reckless homicide and use of a dangerous weapon in connection with the death of his wife, Jacqueline Beason.

The horrifying incident unfolded on June 1 outside a beauty salon in downtown Milwaukee.

According to reports from Law & Crime, the couple was embroiled in a heated argument, with Beason reportedly on the phone with her daughter when the altercation turned deadly.

Witnesses recounted hearing a gunshot and immediately alerted authorities.

Upon apprehension by law enforcement, Lewis confessed to the shooting, stating he knew he would face severe consequences for his actions.

During subsequent interviews with investigators, Lewis admitted to becoming overwhelmed by the argument and fatally shooting his wife, claiming he “just lost it right there.”

The victim’s daughter, who was deeply traumatized by the sudden loss of her mother, took to social media to express her anguish and confusion, describing the emotional turmoil of going from celebrating her mother’s milestone birthday to planning her funeral within a mere 24 hours.

The community has been left shaken by this senseless act of violence, mourning the loss of a beloved woman whose life was tragically cut short on what should have been a day of joy and celebration.
