One-half of the rap duo City Girls Yung Miami stole the show at the Met Gala Monday evening but it was an interview with Lala on the red carpet that has people talking.

“Do y’all officially go together real bad?” Lala inquired Caresha, who was with her on-again-off-again boo Diddy as they reached the top of the iconic stairs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Diddy refrained from responding but then decided to answer.

“We definitely go together real bad!” Diddy replied. “She’s my date for the night. … We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles. This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”

Caresha weighed in by adding, “Yeah, it’s just a good date night.”

It’s also worth noting that the music mogul was sweating profusely during the interview and even needed a powder puff and mini fan to keep him cool. Social media went ablaze to suggest that the question was a bit too hot to handle.

The outlandish interview comes just months after fans began to think that Yung Miami was done – like really done with Sean Combs.

Rumors of the pair going their separate ways emerged after Yung Miami tweeted that she wanted her man after she performed at Rolling Loud in March.

“It’s been a long week I just want my man,” she wrote.

She then tweeted: “I’m not sharing my next n***a!

She then admitted that she was under the influence, although it did not stop fans from thinking that she and Diddy parted ways.

“I’m tipsy I gotta go.”

She finished by writing that she’s “deleting my social accounts.”

Later that month, Billboard shared a clip asking her and her bandmate JT if they had “done a double date yet.”

“I’m single—S-I-N-G-L-E, baby,” Miami immediately replied to the video.

The rumor for a while has been that Yung Miami and Diddy have broken up, but her Instagram page told another story. Late last year, the Caresha Please host posted several videos of her in a room full of red roses.

“The way you make me feel these days. I’m crying. My heart can’t take it,” she captioned the post.

The 28-year-old, born Caresha Romeka Brownlee, also shared a card that read “I love you! Love, Papi.” Papi – for those of you who don’t know – is her nickname for music mogul, Sean Combs.

Several celebrity friends flooded her comments with words of encouragement, including her bandmate JT, Tamar Braxton, Trina, Saucy Santana, La La Anthony and Chaney Jones.

The Miami native, who has over six million followers on Instagram, shared the post after many speculated that she had broken up with her sugar daddy after he reduced her monthly allowance from $500,000 to $200,000 a month. The rumors came days after the billionaire showed her off in his Los Angeles mansion at his 53rd birthday party.

In September, the Trap Star rapper explained her open relationship with Diddy.

“We are dating. We single, but we’re dating. People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together,” she told XXL. “When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single. He see other people outside of me and I see people outside of him. I’m young. I’m dating. I’m, you know, having fun. I’m doing me. He’s doing the same thing.”
