Bozoma Saint John, former Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Netflix, is stepping into the spotlight as the newest full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Bravo announced the official cast for Season 14 on Wednesday, May 22, with Saint John joining the ensemble alongside returning housewives Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, and Sutton Stracke. Kathy Hilton will return as a “friend of,” accompanied by actress Jennifer Tilly.
Saint John, known for her extensive career in the television industry, transitions to reality TV after serving as Netflix’s CMO from 2020 to 2022.
Her impressive resume includes leadership roles at Endeavor, Pepsi, Uber, and Apple—where she joined following Apple’s acquisition of Beats Music by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.
Following Bravo’s announcement, Saint John took to Instagram to share her excitement, posting a glamorous photoshoot from Beverly Hills with the caption,
“There’s a BADASS in the HOUSE! 💎.”
The Connecticut native’s reality TV debut coincides with the release of her memoir, The Urgent Life: My Story of Love, Loss and Survival, in which she chronicles her journey of resilience and urgency after the death of her husband, Peter, from cancer in 2013.
Saint John’s influence extends beyond the United States. In May 2021, she was named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Female Leaders in Africa by Leading Ladies Africa, recognizing her impact in the corporate and business sectors.
Having lived in Ghana, Nairobi, and Kenya during her upbringing, Saint John eventually moved back to the United States, residing in Connecticut, Washington, D.C., and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
As the 13th season of RHOBH concluded in March, Saint John makes history as the first cast member to come from the industry’s executive side and the second Black full-time housewife on the show, following Beauvais, who joined in Season 10 in 2020.
