Keke “Lauren Keyana” Palmer won against Darius Jackson and is now the sole guardian of her 8-month-old son, Leodis.
The “Akeelah and the Bee” filed for full legal and physical custody of her and Darius Jackson’s 8-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
After providing evidence to the court, the actress was awarded sole custody of her son. A temporary restraining order has also been granted against her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, whom she accused of domestic abuse.
According to the motion Keke filed, Darius Jackson has been violent towards her on more than one occasion. She added that she ended the relationship last month, triggering an unannounced visit from Darius on November 7th.
The 30-year-old actress stated that her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend barged into her house and ordered her to see their 8-month-old son.
Keke continued to claim that the fitness instructor proceeded to assault her and submitted footage that allegedly showed Darius “hitting” and “dragging” her.
“At that point, he lunged at me, grabbing at my neck and face, knocked me backward over the couch, stole my phone out of my hands, and then ran out of the house,” the actress wrote in the motion.
According to legal documents obtained by CNN, the temporary restraining order granted by a Los Angeles County judge specifies that Darius Jackson must stay at least 100 yards away from both Keke Palmer and their son.
He was also ordered no visitation with his son “until further order of the court.”

Sharon Palmer claimed she reported Darius to his elder brother, Sarunas Jackson, who said he “used to be like that too.’
Jackson and Palmer began dating in 2021 and broke up after 2 years of an on-and-off relationship.
