Basketball Wives LA star Jennifer Williams has vehemently denied rumors that she has been financially burdened by her husband Christian’s recent legal troubles.

The reality star addressed swirling rumors, vehemently denying ever being asked to pay any of Christian’s restitution. Jennifer Williams clarified that the initial restitution amount of $250,000 was reduced to $12,000 after additional motions were filed.

Earlier this month and before their wedding, Jennifer Williams’ fiancè, Christian Gold, was sentenced to jail a week before their wedding.

According to reports, Gold was arrested and sentenced to 15 days in jail for allegedly violating his probation. He was arrested on Friday, September 6, in Georgia’s DeKalb County.

Christian Gold was on probation when he traveled out of the country with his woman without permission from his probation officer and was caught posting photos and videos on their social media accounts.

However, the judge was lenient, allowing Christian to serve only two days in jail. Following his temporary release, he attended their wedding in Paris on September 14.

Jennifer Williams took the opportunity to clarify rumors about her new marriage at the Basketball Wives Reunion.

During the discussion, the host brought up a video where a lawyer claimed to have uncovered that Christian’s restitution was not the widely speculated $250,000 but rather just $12,000. The lawyer suggested there were discrepancies in the information being shared. Jennifer, however, was quick to correct the narrative.

“First of all, all these people doing all this digging—they have no idea what they’re talking about. That was the initial amount, but there are motions that get filed. So, there was an additional motion that got filed for more money, which was hospital bills,” Jennifer explained.

The Basketball Wives star was adamant that Christian has never asked her to contribute financially to his legal obligations. “Christian has never asked me to pay a thing, so let’s clear all that up right now,” she emphasized. “He’s definitely never asked me to pay any of his restitution, and he can pay it. We are good.”

Jennifer also addressed the false narratives circulating about her husband’s case, particularly the nature of his conviction. Clearing the air, she clarified, “He was acquitted of anything domestic. So, I don’t want that false narrative out there.”

When pressed further about what Christain was actually convicted of, Jennifer responded succinctly: “False imprisonment.”

Christain Gold reportedly was ordered to return to DeKalb County after their wedding to serve the final 13 days of his sentence.
