A young woman is speaking out after learning in a shocking twist that the man she is dating is actually her biological brother.
In an interview with the TikTok channel @messy_news, the woman explained how she and her boyfriend discovered the truth at a family gathering. “Scary,” she said when asked what it felt like to find out they were siblings.
“It’s like… I just wanted to introduce him to my favorite auntie, and one thing led to another. That’s when I found out our dad had a child before me,” she added.
The revelation came after relatives pointed out family ties. According to the couple, their father had children with multiple partners over the years.
“My pops had as many as 20 kids,” the man added in the interview. “And including the one he just had, that’s 21 now. He was a rolling stone, wherever he laid his hat was his home.”
The woman admitted the situation was hard to process, especially after facing judgment from others.
“A few people on his side of the family were like, ‘Oh, that’s weird,’ and they didn’t agree with it at first. But then he put it how he put it: I grew up without family — no brothers, no sisters, nothing like that. I just grew up without family,” she said.
