Whether it’s browsing books, attending a writing workshop, co-working, or enjoying wine during an open mic night, the space is designed to center Black women in every part of the experience.

“Our main mission is to uplift Black women authors and make them feel heard, celebrated, and seen,” Alexus shared in a recent TikTok video.

Alexus envisions the store as more than just a bookstore — it’s a culturally affirming, safe space built by and for Black women.

“…if you are a Black woman author in St. Louis, I definitely want to connect with you because I’m planning on having a author panel event later this year and I need some black women authors and I also want to do something for y’all for our website as well,” she said.

Supporters can help bring the vision to life by shopping at warmpages.com, donating directly, or purchasing through the brand’s affiliate links with Bookshop and Libro.

Every contribution goes toward establishing a physical storefront in St. Louis, which Alexus is confident will open by the end of the year.
