Entrepreneur and lifestyle creator Francina Kahl (@bestilltea) is reintroducing herself to her growing online community, sharing the story of her bold move abroad and teasing the relaunch of her tea brand, Be Still Tea.
In a heartfelt Instagram video, Kahl opened up about the unconventional journey that reshaped her life. After living in the United States for 28 years and raising five children, she packed up and left the country on July 4 — a date she calls her “Independence Day.”
Her family’s move began with a European road trip through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy before settling abroad.
Along the way, Kahl said the journey was both “tumultuous” and deeply meaningful, inspiring her to share her experience with others who may be considering a similar leap.
Building Community Through Stillness

Kahl first launched Be Still Tea as a way to invite people to slow down, reflect, and listen to their lives. While the tea brand was temporarily paused during her transition overseas, she assured followers it will be returning soon.
“The tea is coming back,” Kahl promised. “I’ll have an announcement in the next few weeks.”
She explained that her online platform will continue to blend entrepreneurship, travel insights, and personal development. Her mission, she said, is to help others explore whether making a major life move — whether across the world or simply into a new season — is right for them.
A Global Calling
Kahl explained that every country she explored was one that “called” her, from Portugal and Senegal to Japan, Korea, and East Africa. She said she plans to share resources, including a checklist, to guide those interested in starting their own relocation journey.
For Kahl, the foundation of her message remains simple: be still, listen deeply, and make choices aligned with what truly matters.
“Be still and listen to your life so that you can take better care of you and the people around you,” she told followers.
As she settles into this new chapter, her reintroduction signals not only a return of Be Still Tea but also a broader invitation to community, reflection, and courageous living.
