North West is stepping into the music scene with her debut EP N0rth4evr, and she’s doing it with a striking visual identity that’s already turning heads.

The 12-year-old made a statement at her album pop-up event in Los Angeles on May 1, where she showcased a bold mix of bleached white eyebrows, waist-length electric blue hair, and a black grill. The look leaned into a punk-inspired aesthetic, with her bright blue hair styled sleek and adorned with silver studs and grommets running through the front layers.

North appeared at the Complex pop-up, signing autographs for fans, fully embracing the moment as she promoted her first project. The beauty choices reflected a continuation of her recent style evolution. Earlier this year, she had already sparked conversation after showing off a black grill paired with a mid-brow piercing on TikTok.

Her father, Kanye West, joined her at the event and matched her experimental energy with a faux under-eye dermal piercing.

N0rth4evr features six tracks that blend punk-rock and rap influences, with nods to artists like Playboi Carti. The opening track, “H0w Sh0uld ! F33l,” samples Meg & Dia’s 2006 song “Monster,” adding a layered sound to her debut.

In “Woah,” North reflects on her upbringing, offering a glimpse into life in the public eye. “I’ve been signing autographs since elementary,” she raps, before adding, “I never had a choice,” a line that underscores her experience growing up surrounded by fame.

The project’s rollout also includes a music video for the title track “N0rth4evr,” directed by Ty Akimoto and Mack Ishida, further cementing her entry into the industry.

With her debut EP out and a bold creative direction on display, North West is carving out her own lane while drawing from the world she was born into!
