For those unfamiliar, Jay-Z’s streaming platform, Tidal, has recently been in the headlines again after Nicki Minaj claimed that Beyoncé’s husband did not pay her for the Tidal ownership deal.

The Pink Friday hitmaker stated that she never received “one red penny” from Tidal, which was sold in 2021 for $300 million.
Previous reports claimed that when the company changed hands, all stakeholders received more than $8 million, but we now know Minaj was not one of them.
