The 45-year-old star first announced the surgery by posting a photo of herself in a hospital bed, preparing for the procedure. After undergoing the operation, Brown reassured her followers with a heartfelt update from home. Sharing a snapshot of herself resting in bed.
“Outpatient surgery turned into an overnight stay, but I’m now Home and Healing. Everything went well 🙌🏾. 🙌🏾OOHHHH GOD I THANK YOU🙌🏾. Hipolita will be up and at em before you know it! Thank you for all your messages of love and support❤️ I appreciate y’all!!” Brown captioned the post.
Tabitha Brown’s surgery came after months of dealing with persistent discomfort. In October, she opened up about the challenges she faced during workouts. She revealed to theGrio that she had to pause her fitness routine due to severe lower back pain that later turned out to be linked to a slipped disc.
“My lower back was hurting so bad, and I still was trying to, like, push through the workout, but it got so bad,” Brown recalled. “I was like, ‘Wait a minute, my body’s telling me that I can’t do this.’ So I had to take, like, a little ten-day break until I healed.”
