A video of Tracee Ellis Ross playfully pretending to take shots with Diddy from 2021 has gone viral, sparking a wave of reactions online, especially in the wake of his controversial “Freak-Off” parties being exposed.

As more details about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ September 2024 arrest surface, social media users are reflecting on all of his celebrity interactions.

The viral clip, which has now garnered millions of views, shows the “Black-ish” star flaunting a bottle of one of Diddy’s liquor collaborators, Ciroc. He returns the favor and demonstrates to viewers a bottle of hair moisturizers from her haircare line, Pattern Beauty. As Diddy uses some of Tracee’s conditioner, she asks him what flavor his alcohol is.

She then pours a shot of Ciroc, mimicking a shot-taking moment next to the music mogul, who appeared to be enjoying the playful banter, and says, “Let me get some of this in my system.” However, if you look closely, she appears not to have drunk the alcohol, and if she did, it was an insanely small amount.

In the clip, Tracee can be seen raising a shot glass to her lips before slyly putting it back down, making exaggerated expressions as if she had just taken a real shot, before stating, “I cannot drink that whole thing.”

The lighthearted exchange quickly spread on social media platforms, racking up thousands of views and sparking mixed reactions from fans and followers.

The timing of the video’s viral moment has raised concerns, as it follows Diddy’s arrest on allegations of witness tampering. The hip-hop legend, real name Sean Combs, is currently facing serious legal issues after his former girlfriend, Cassie, accused him of sexual assault and other crimes last year.

Diddy was arrested in New York City earlier this week and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution. He was ordered held without bail and pleaded not guilty.
