Jennifer Hudson and Common boo’ed up? Are they Hollywood’s newest power couple?
Hudson and Common were first romantically linked in 2022 while filming of the upcoming action-thriller ‘Breathe’ where they would be starred together.
Saturday night, the 42-year-old actress and Common were spotted in New York holding hands at an establishment called Joe’s Pub Theater.
The pair looked comfortable and in tune, as they strode into the concert venue where jazz singer Mikel Mwalimu-Banksat was performing.
The photo shows a very satisfied Jennifer Hudson looking chic in a white jacket over black pants with black-and-white heels. At the same time, Common looked pleased as the camera captured a toothy smile from the side. The 51-year-old also matched his date in a sported white sneakers, a cream shirt, and cargo pants.
After the PDA sighting, Jennifer opened up about her love life during her appearance on CBS Morning. She spoke about being in a new relationship, confirming that she is “very happy” amid rumors of her dating Common.
“I’m in a very nice relationship with someone who shall remain nameless… I am very happy, yes, ma’am,’ Hudson disclosed.
Upon co-host Nate Burleson’s insistence, she added, “I think it’s more sophisticated than booed up… It’s definitely not an entanglement. That’s for sure.”
This isn’t the first time fans have linked the duo together. In September 2022, Jennifer shut down chitchats of dating the musician.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer said their relationship was purely professional for their husband and wife roles in the upcoming film “Breathe”.
Sometime in February, Jennifer Hudson and Common were spotted leaving Nobu together in Malibu, walking next to each other.
The actress also called her rumored boyfriend a “beautiful man” during an interview with TMZ in August. But she refused to confirm her relationship with him.
