Kenya Moore is turning a new page involving her adorable 6-year-old daughter, Brooklyn! Following her suspension from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kenya is reportedly shifting her focus to building a brand around her little one.

After a headline-making suspension from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore is trading drama for dolls. The 53-year-old reality star and entrepreneur is now setting her sights on a legacy move, launching a children’s brand in her 6-year-old daughter Brooklyn Daly’s name. And she’s making it official.

According to The U.S. Sun, Kenya filed a trademark on August 12, 2024, for “Brooklyn Bound,” a multi-category brand that includes everything from children’s books and educational toys to kid-sized clothing and footwear.

The trademark covers:

“Printed children’s books; Printed children’s activity books; Printed educational publications, namely, educational learning cards, flashcards, activity cards, workbooks, textbooks, activity books, story books, puzzle books, printed puzzles, teacher guides, manuals, posters, and educational booklets in the field of early childhood education; Series of printed children’s books.

“Children’s educational toys for developing motor, cognitive, and counting skills; Dolls and dolls’ clothing; Dolls and printed children’s books sold as a unit; Dolls for playing; Plastic dolls; Plush dolls.”

However, let’s not pretend this isn’t also a strategic comeback. Kenya’s brand pivot comes in the aftermath of her shocking suspension from RHOA over that now-infamous incident involving explicit photos of co-star Brittany Eady. The footage, which aired on April 7, had fans and castmates gasping.

At her spa’s grand opening, Kenya unveiled a stack of graphic posters of Brittany allegedly engaging in sexual acts. The move prompted Porsha Williams to walk out in protest, and left Angela Oakley calling it “distasteful” and “hurtful.” Even Kenya herself has since admitted, “If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful.

“Brooklyn Bound” isn’t just a brand. It’s already a published series. Kenya and Brooklyn’s debut children’s book, Brooklyn Bound: Paris, dropped last October and gave fans a first look into the new mother-daughter venture.

And while the trademark is still listed as “pending,” If RHOA won’t give Kenya Moore screen time, she’s building an empire that centers her daughter, creativity, and ownership.
